AQUATEX dispersion silicate paint for walls and ceilings KABE 10 liters WHITE
Thanks to the paint and plaster mixer, KABE is possible to color the paint to the color expected by the customer.
Dispersion silicate topcoat for protective and decorative coatings inside buildings. Produced on the basis of innovative Swiss technology, combined with silicate and dispersion binder. It is characterized by the fact that it does not change the retention properties of the substrate (walls naturally absorb and give moisture), thanks to which in "wet" rooms (such as: kitchens, bathrooms, laundromats, rooms in the ground floor of the building) the moisture content of the air is reduced. In such rooms it is especially recommended for painting ceilings and upper surfaces of walls. AQUATEX paint is also used to paint walls and ceilings in "dry" rooms (e.g. living room, bedroom, meeting rooms or office rooms). It is used for primary and renovation painting of mineral substrates (e.g. concrete, lime plaster, lime-cement, cement and gypsum and plasterboard), as well as covered with a well-bound coating, expedition based on plastics. New mineral substrates (such as cement and cement-lime plasters) do not require protein or priming and can be painted as early as 14 days after they are made.
The most important features of aquatex paint for walls and ceilings:
- Excellent opacity
- Mineral character
- Highest resistance to wet scrubbing
- High vapour permeability
- No priming required
- For mineral substrates and coated with paints
- Especially recommended for "wet" rooms
Aquatex anti- KABE paint application:
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE: The substrate must be supportive (without cracks and cracks), degreased, clean and dry and free from stains and eruptions of biological and chemical origin. If fungal lichen occurs, the substrate should be cleaned mechanically and then de-ed with ALGIZID. Discoloration stains, nicotine stains and eruptions after water stains should be repainted in advance with MILAMAT isolating paint. Any loose, non-substrate layers (e.g. uncoated plasters or exfoliated coatings) must be removed. The residues of glue or lime paints should be thoroughly removed and the substrate washed off with water. Wash and de-de-de-stain old and/or soiled substrates with cleanforce. In a situation where the unevenness of the substrate is significant, the wall should be pre-aligned with kombi finish mortar, and then smooth the entire surface with the filler mass PROFINISZ. With small bumps, you can immediately apply the PROFINISZ putty. Absorbent substrates should be primed with BUDOGRUNT WG before applying masses and/or filler mortars. Fresh cement and cement-lime plasters can be painted after a 2-week seasoning period, gypsum plaster after a week, while the so-called "dry housing" immediately after grinding and dusting. Note: Immediately before applying paint, surfaces made of alkali-sensitive materials (e.g. wood, metal, glass or clinker brick) should be protected against splashing. The filler mass profinisz can be used only in rooms where the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 70%.
PAINT PREPARATION: The packaging contains a product ready for use. If necessary, the paint can be diluted with a certain amount of water, adding 20÷30% by volume to the first painting and 5÷15% to the second (the type of substrate, drying conditions and application technique must be taken into account when determining the amount of water). Note: Mixing AQUATEX paint with other paints may reduce the technical parameters of the product.
APPLICATION: Apply the paint to the substrate in two layers with a brush, roller or spray (including the "airless" method). It is recommended to use a paint roller from sheep fleece with a length of 18 mm bristles. Apply the second layer of paint only after the first layer has dried
DRYING: Dry time applied to the substrate of one layer of paint (at +20°C and with relative air humidity of 55%) approximately 3 hours. When applying and tying the paint, there should be an air temperature above +5°C. Immediately after the work is done, the tools should be washed with water. Note: Low temperature and high humidity extend the drying period of the coating. Enclosed spaces should be ventilated after painting until a specific odour has disappeared.
EXECUTIVE GUIDELINES: In order to avoid color differences, it is necessary to make a surface constituting a separate architectural whole, in one working cycle, with material from the same production batch. When applying and tying the paint should be followed by an air temperature above +5°C. Immediately after the completion of the work, the tools should be washed with water. Note: Low temperature and high humidity may adversely affect the shade of the coating.
