ATLAS GIPSAR UNI - White putty smooth reinforced with polymers.

The most important atlas is:

  • polymer-reinforced
  • optimally selected hardness
  • perfect distribution on the ground
  • effective paint opacity
  • snow-white color

Application of Gipsar uni:
Recommended for making plaster plaiers on walls and ceilings.
It fills small cavities on walls and ceilings – it can be used to repair surfaces before making plaiers.

Gipsar UNI ATLAS app:

  1. Preparation of the substrate:
The substrate should be: stable – sufficiently rigid and seasoned for a sufficiently long time. It is assumed that the seasoning time of the substrates is respectively: - for new cement plasters from finished plastering mortars ATLAS, min. 1 week for every cm thick - for concrete walls, at least 28 days, dry, even - the maximum thickness of the GIPSARA UNI layer is 2 mm, cleaned - from layers that can weaken the adhesion of the mass, especially from dust, dirt, lime, oils, fats, wax, residual oil and emulsion paint. If the substrate is coated with biological corrosion, use MYKOS no. ATLAS1 or MYKOS PLUS ATLAS to remove it,
  2. Product preparation:
The material from the bag should be poured into a container of water (proportions are given in the Technical Data) and stirred by hand or mechanically (a drill with a gypsum agitator) until a uniform mass is obtained without lumps. The reconded mass should be set aside for 5 minutes and mixed again. After preparation, it should be used within about 1.5 hours.
  3. Overlap:
The mass should be applied evenly with a smooth stainless steel troke and smoothed successively as the work progresses. Mass on the walls is recommended to be applied with strips in the floor-to-ceiling direction, making a trouch movement from the bottom upwards. In the case of ceilings, the mass is applied with stripes in the direction from the window to the depth of the room, pulling the trouch "towards each other".
  4. Grinding strokes:
After the mass has dried, fine irregularities should be removed with sandpaper or grinding net. The resulting inaccuracies should be re-thinly sanded and sanded.
  5. Finishing work:
Wallpapering or painting can begin after the plaiting has dried. You can use acrylic paints (e.g. ecoFARBA ATLAS ) or latex paints (e.g. optiFARBA ATLAS or ATLAS pro paint). Before painting, the done smoothing should be primed with a preparation recommended by the paint manufacturer. Before laying the linings, it is recommended to prime the surface of the plaice ATLAS uni-ground emulsion.
  6. Consumption:
On average, about 1 kg of weight/1 m2 /1 mm layer thickness is consumed.
